Should I Retire at 65?

When I give a thought about retirement, I always think about this;

• What would happen to me when I retire? 
• Will I have enough money then? 
• Will I be able to sustain myself and my beloved wifey? 
• Would I be asking help from my children?
• Would I ask money from them"?
• Would I ask for money from my relatives?

Friends, these are the questions that rings in my mind (and more of them I tell you) and everyday I'm not getting younger. I've heard of people in the retirement age (aged 60yrs to 65yrs) having no savings at all. They end up asking for help from everywhere. I feel compassion and pity everytime I hear them being rediculed by their own children who don't want to extend any financial help at all. Or maybe they really want to but it's coupled with sarcastic words. And these words hurts the feelings of the one who asked for help.

I imagine myself in their shoe and my goodness, that would really be hard. So I decided to be an entrepreneur. Try and try again even if I fail several times. Until the Good Lord blesses me with long awaited success.

I've read almost every book of Bro Bo Sanchez, and now I'm an active member of his Truly Rich Club Circle. You know why I joined? One time I heard, his maid already had Php 60,000 in the stock market. I just laughed and let it pass. Then the next time again I heard his maid already have Php 300,000 in the stock market. And to think I'm already a member of his Truly Rich Club Circle (but without doing any action at all) for about 2 years and did nothing. So I decided to try out the stock market since I was told in one of the newsletter that it's possible to start with only Php 5,000. Thankfully I have invested in some companies who are recommended by Bro Bo himself. I've made little profits after his recommendation of selling particular stocks and I'm now actively doing it.

I will be doing something for you if you like to prepare for your retirement. How did you do in 2012?

The world today is in chaos. So many sad news of calamities, wars all over. Worst, the end of the world phenomenon. I'm writing this blog post today, December 22, 2012. Rumors says that the world would end On December 21, 2012. But its already a day after the rumored Dooms Day! Did you believe that? Whether you believe it or not, lemme ask you this question. How did you do financially, spiritually, physically, emotionally etc... in 2012?

For me I will share my blessings for this year, 2012.

Blessing No.1 -

I passed the Real Estate Appraisers' PRC Exam given last July. As I have mention in my previous blog post, I'm already a Real Estate Broker. This gives me another edge in the Real Estate industry in the Philippines. As a new appraiser I got to know more in details about what Real Estate in the Philippines is all about.

Blessing No.2 -

I had the opportunity be among good people in our business. Our Bio Medical Clinic (Librando BioMedical Clinic - Integrative Medicine) had a very wonderful new image. Our staff in our clinic are excellent people who are dedicated and devoted to their jobs and taking care of our patients. Also in my other business which is the Hobby Shop (Blutac HobbyShop and Gadgets) some new ones joined us and we are so blessed with these dedicated people.

Blessing No. 3 -

I got serious with Bo Sanchez Truly Rich Club. I started investing in the Stock Market and followed Brother Bo's advice and I made money. Isn't that great? At first, I was very hesitant but then decided and started with a few of my savings and what do you know, I am now saving every month and invest it in my portfolio. Blessing No. 4 -

I am a sick person. I'm not fully fit like before. I have a cyst in my lungs and thank God it's not the worst kind of cyst. (You know!) I was healthy then. Very athletic. Then suddenly I lost weight drastically. My sugar levels are up. My blood pressure is high. I spit blood when all these levels are high and worse, I kept getting blood transfusion because my hemoglobin (oxygen levels in blood) is very low and also my blood protein. I got admitted in a local hospital for surgery to remove my cyst only to be discharged on the same day because I cannot be operated on. I had very low blood protein.

You might think, where is the blessing here? But wait, hehehe.... I started doing my dad's treatment protocol seriously. By the way, my dad is a medical doctor and his specialty is Family Medicine. He is supposed to be a Surgeon but that's another story. He also an Integrative Doctor. I followed his Integrative treatment protocol and now my sugar levels are at a normal level and so is my blood pressure. I am gaining weight everyday and even started a light workout to tone my body. Little by little my health is improving everyday.

At the Wealth Circle Club Meeting with brother Bo Sanchez

I got the chance to attend the Wealth Circle Meeting of Brother Bo Sanchez. Wealth Circle Club is an upgrade of membership of the Truly Rich Club of Brother Bo. I went together with my beloved wife and we met a lot of great personalities and successful entrepreneurs. My wife and I had the chance to be facilitated by the Real Estate Guru of the Philippines Sir Larry Gamboa. He was on our table and we talked the whole day. Also had the chance to talk to Citiseconline.com, now COL Financial, Owner, Edward Lee. (This is where I invest in the stock market. Very easy!).

Our Adventure @ Danasan Eco Adventure Park - Danao

"It's a two (2) day holiday on Aug. 20 & 21" said my wifey. "So, what's it going to be?", I replied.

It seems that everyone is expecting something over the weekend, so I suggested, "How about going for some adventure in Danao?" "What's in Danao?" my wifey asked. "There's a place that's full of fun and adventure", I replied. "Let's go check it out!", said my wifey. And that's how it started!

It was a coinsidence that my Airsoft Team, Philippine Airsoft Team of Mactan (P.A.C.M.A.N.), also planned an induction of new officers and it was decided that it's going to be held in Danasan Eco Adventure Park in Danao.

As usual my curiosity on the place is getting in to me. Things like, how to get there, how far from the city proper is it, the kind of vehicle to use and all those apprehensions. I search the net, blog after blog, making calls and inquiries from friends and forums but still I wasn't satisfied if I could safely bring my family with me.

I'm writing this blog about our experience and for those who would like to go to Danasan Eco Adventure Park and hopefully illustrate with some pictures, our journey to the park, our fun at the park and our way back home.

OUR JOURNEY TO THE PARK

To go to Danasan Eco Adventure Park (which I will call "The Park"), first, you have to go to Danao City. It is an hour drive from Cebu City. Once you get there, there is a sign board on the left of the road that will lead you to The Park. The duration of the trip from Danao City proper to The Park is also about one (1) hour. It's about 25km to 30km from Danao City Proper. But you get to see some great views on the way though.


I read about the very rough roads on the way but seeing for myself, they are not so much. I recommend using an SUV though or a vehicle that has a higher height from road to to car body. In our case, we used the Toyota Innova (hehehe I'm plugging...) The pictures below are the roads we encountered going there.....

Don't use a sedan (vios, civic etc...) as you might have difficulty in conquering the rough road portions. Some of my friends used a Nissan 4x4 pick up, another used his Sta. Fe (Hyundai), and a Tuson.

 That's about it on going to The Park from Danao City Proper. Next stop is, tatarataaaa........

OUR FUN AND ADVENTURE AT THE PARK

The Park has loads of stuff to fill your need for adrenaline. I'm just going to mention the adventure stuff that we experience in The Park. If you want to know the complete list, you can visit their website by click this link, Danasan Eco Adventure Park .

They have a 400m Zipline and on coming back, you get to ride on a horse. Hitting two birds in one stone hehehe. Below is the Zipline, a view from the window of the Room where we stayed.


After we settled in our room, we explored The Park and the without delay we hopped on the 8x8 off-road vehicle which gave us an awesome tour of The Park with Thrill. This is also one of the stuff you get to enjoy in The Park. It's a very exciting ride. Sometime we pass through the road and just the very bumpy grass and then suddenly a sharp turn which sends everyone off their seats.

So much for the preliminaries, I will continue, with our adventure on my next blog post. But it won't be long.....

Making use of My Time...

I was having my chelation protocol (series of alternative homeopatic treatment) in my dad's clinic, Librando BioMedical Clinic, and before I sat down to have the butterfly needle inserted in my veins (OUCH!), I looked at the books on my shelf and see which one I could read. By the way, the chelation takes about one hour thirty minutes so that's the reason why I checked on my dusty shelf. 

As I was looking, I came about a book from a very well known inspiring author, Bo Sanchez, Hi Bo!,... The title of the book is "Fill Your Life With Miracles". 

I have had this book for quite sometime and have already finished reading it. But it was already quite a while since I last read it. Anyway, I sat on the couch (wow, comfy!) and prepared for the pricking sensation and then Voila!, the needle was in and the drip has started. 

I thanked God for giving me two arms 'coz while one arm is with the drip, the other is the one holding the book and changing the pages. Then I started reading. Would you believe it. I have read the book before and now I'm reading it again, but still the stories in the book touches me and what I've been through in this life. Page by page I read slowly and I began to ponder the things and events that have happened since the last time I read it.

It's really a Miracle just reading the book and I thank God for giving me people like Bo to use him as HIS instrument for inspiring people like me in every aspect of my life.

I tried the Ion Cleanse Foot Detox

I was taking medications which was harmful to my liver and I started having big pimples in my face. And it's not only 1 but more than 1 and located on different places of my face.

I occasionally play Airsoft Games and my friends noticed my face and asked me about it. All I could tell them was it's because of the medication that I'm taking. It's taking it's toll against my liver.

It's really incovenient and uncomfortable having it. Sometimes it grows in places which prevents me from taking hair cuts. Why? Because the electric razors usually pass through where the big pimples have grown. So I have to wait until they all dry up. Totally inconvenient!

My dad is a Medical Doctor and his specialty is Family Medicine. But he integrates his practice with homeopatic, homotoxicology medicine. And he advised me to undergo detoxification. Specifically Foot Detox. He has this equipment which you place both your feet in a clear lukewarm water and when the machine is turned on, just remain sitted for 30 minutes and then it's over.

One thing I noticed though is that when I started, remember the water is clear, after 30 minutes, it's as dark as a canal. I kept on doing this 3 times a week for 2 weeks and my face was cleared of the big pimples.

By the way, I got pains in my joints especially in the fingers due to arthritis, (I like to eat pure meat especially grilled steaks, hehehe) and because of the foot detox I feel less pain after every session. So vegetables and fish are on the menu as of now.

Cobra Ironman 70.3 blasts off in Cebu! Alaska Milk Corporation President and CEO Fred Uytengsu formally launched the fourth staging of the Cobra Energy Drink Ironman 70.3 Philippines here at the posh Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa.


This event was brought to Cebu FOUR (4) years ago and today, it has all expectations with 1,700 participants from 31 countries joining the biggest sporting event in the province this year. Due to it's popularity globally, Motor racing superstar and 2009 Formula One World Champion Jenson Button, who has painstakingly earned a name in triathlon as well, will join the race. With Button is girlfriend Japanese fashion and lingerie model Jessica Michibata, who will compete in the relays with Cebuano tennis legend and newspaper columnist John Page.

Various streets of Mactan Island will be close due to this event, to accommodate the athletes. It's going to be a busy day in Mactan this coming Aug 5, 2012.
